We will be celebrating “God’s Work. Our Hands” on Sunday, September 8. This is an opportunity for Lutheran churches to serve and love their neighbors and help communities. We will be doing the following 3 projects:
School Kits for Lutheran World Relief: We will assemble school kits containing essential supplies to help children continue learning in the face of obstacles. Our goal is to complete 100 kits. There will be boxes on the stage in the Fellowship Hall for your donations.
The following items are needed:
70 sheet spiral notebooks
12-inch rulers
Pencil sharpeners
Blunt scissors
Unsharpened No. 2 pencils
Black or blue ballpoint pens (no gel ink)
Boxes of 16 or 24 crayons
2 ½” erasers
Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief: We will assemble these kits which provide much-needed self-care and critical germ fighting tools. The following items are needed:
Light weight bath towels
Bath size bars of soap
Adult size toothbrushes
Sturdy combs
Metal nail clippers
Card Making Station: We will make cards for our homebound members and others in our congregation and community.
